Samsung Galaxy S5
Samsung has already sent out invites for the event on March 27. Several reports quoted Sammy Hub that says Galaxy S5 will be unveiled in India on March 27, ahead of its shipment date.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 was launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 in Barcelona last month. However, pricing details were not disclosed then. T-Mobile in the US has started taking preorder for the device with 24 months of $27.50. It comes out total of $660.
Samsung Galaxy S5
In India, the Galaxy S5 is speculated to be priced lower than its predecessor Galaxy S4. Samsung might disclose the price on March 27 only. The Galaxy S4 was launched for Rs.41,500 and S5 may carry a sub-Rs.40,000 price tag.
The successor to Samsung's best seller, the Galaxy S4, as expected, has come with a host of new features and better specifications. Heart-rate monitor and fingerprint sensor are its main highlights.
Samsung Galaxy S5
Its 5.10-inch Super AMOLED (1080 X 1920p) display is slightly bigger than the Galaxy S4. It sports a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel front camera with ability to capture 4K video. What makes the camera different is its auto-focus speed which, Samsung claims, is 0.3 seconds, the fastest ever. The Galaxy S5 is powered by 2.5GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 2800mAh battery. Hubbard continued by saying, “You can explore large, open environments in search of clues and loot.
You can tackle challenges aggressively or stealthily. You can outfit yourself with the equipment that best suits your play style. It’s a very player-driven experience.”

This bicycle glows under car headlights
The joy of cycling, which is a new fad among neo-rich and health-conscious people alike, can not glow better than this!
As the cyclists struggle hard to make the SUV or bike drivers notice them by strapping reflective strips on their gear, here comes a bike that gets illuminated in toto when on the road at night.
Called the 'Lumen', the latest bike from San Francisco-based Mission Bicycle Company has its frame, fork and rims sprayed with a retro-reflective coating.
Hundreds of thousands of tiny transparent spheres are embedded in a top-layer of powder coat.
When illuminated by a car’s headlights, each microscopic sphere reflects light back at the source.
The closer the car gets, the greater the intensity of the reflection.
The 'Lumen' comes in different configurations - both single-speed and internally geared, said a report in wired.com.

Tips to make your browser secure
|
|

MUNICH: Web browsers are the key to the internet. Without them the internet is an impenetrable black box.
Browsers may be among the most commonly used applications, but they also offer the greatest number of attack options for dangerous content on the net.To keep viruses, worms and other malware away from your computer when surfing,it's crucial to configure your browser for security.
The firewall on a DSL router is a good first step for protecting the computer during surfing, says Marco Rinne from the computer portal chip.de. But that doesn't hold true if your browser is out of date: “Internet Explorer 6 and 7 or Firefox 2 no longer satisfy current security standards,” he says. For optimal protection, he therefore urgesusers to keep theirbrowsers updated.
There are numeroussecurity tools already present in Firefox and Internet Explorer. The pop-up blocker, for example, prevents more than justannoying ads. It alsothrottles other windows that can be used to sneak malicious software onto PCs. Phishing filters protect personal dataagainst theft.
Firefox offers additional configurationoptions underthe Settings item in the Security tab of the Options dialog box: thisincludes the ability to block risky or forgedwebsites. It's also a good idea to prohibit websites from installing add-ons on their own. Similar settings are possible under Internet Explorer in the Security tab of the Internet Options dialog box, accessible from the Tools menu.

Wearable transmitter turns your palm into a touch interface
|
The world could be at your fingertips, thanks to a new wearable, gesture-based gadget.
Fin enables users to control up to three devices such as smartphones, car radios and smart TVs using swipes and taps. The ring-shaped technology is worn on the thumb, and communicates with different devices using Bluetooth.
Fin currently has five programmed gestures; in its final iteration, users will be able to create custom ones on an app that will come with the device.
"People in today's world are becoming more busy, but still they are wasting a lot of time interacting with their smart devices," said Rohildev Nattukallingal, founder of RHL Vision Technologies, the start-up behind Fin. "Fin removes this interaction gap by allowing users to quickly interact with those devices."
